Location:
The Taunton Municipal Airport – King Field is located just minutes from Route 24 and
Interstates 495 and 95, primary north/south connectors through Massachusetts and New
England. Interstate 495 provides direct access to Worcester, I-90, the Massachusetts
Turnpike, and Interstates connecting all of New England. As the Airport is situated
within a Foreign Trade Zone, it continues to stimulate industrial activity throughout the
region.
Facilities:
The airfield contains two runways strategically aligned to facilitate landings in variable
wind and weather. The primary runway, 12-30, a paved 3,500foot long strip, and Runway
4-22 is a 1,900 foot long turf – gravel strip. Airport management provides Navaids and
