The Taunton Council on Aging/Senior Center conducts regularly scheduled and special education programs throughout the year. Some of the education programs described below are subject to funding.
Computer Education
The Taunton Council on Aging/Senior Center in cooperation with Citizens for Citizens, Inc. offers classes in computer and internet services for Taunton elders, sixty (60) years of age and older. Instructors, provided by Citizens for Citizens, Inc., utilize the Generations on Line web based course. The six-class course educates elders on the basics of how to browse the internet and e-mail.

Computer and Internet Training Center for Elders
The Taunton Council on Aging/Senior Center provides Taunton elders, sixty (60) years of age and older, with the Computer and Internet Training Center. The Center not only provides education programs as stated above, but it is also available for elders of the community to schedule a time to come in for personal use. WiFi services are available at the center.

Lectures/Instructional Workshops
The Taunton Council on Aging/Senior Center schedules special Lectures/Instructional Workshops throughout the year. Past topics have included: Tax Abatements, Circuit Breaker Program, Prescription Advantage, Senior Law, MassPro/Medicare and Reverse Mortgages.
