Dial-a-Ride – curb-to-curb transportation serving customers sixty years of age or older and/or those who meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). To be considered for Dial-A-Ride service, customers must complete a senior application and/or GATRA’s Statewide Access Pass and ADA Paratransit Eligibility Application Form. Dial-A-Ride service can be used for medical, social, and shopping trips.  Cash fares: $1.25, 10-Ride Pass: $10.00
Med-Wheels Program, long-distance medical transportation funded through United Way of Greater Attleboro/Taunton to Boston and Providence. Curb to curb, customers must provide their own escort, appointments should be made between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.; registration prior to appointments; handicap van service

This service is for elders needing transportation to medical treatments requiring several visits a week for example; dialysis & radiation treatments.  Transportation must be scheduled by the caregiver and is limited to three times per month per caregiver.  A voluntary and confidential contribution is requested.  The suggested amount per round trip is $10.00.
