Open Burning Season begins annually on January 15th 10 am and ends April 30th at 4 pm.
There is no cost for burn permits during the Annual open burning season.
You must have a permit to conduct open burning.
We have transitioned to a new platform for online burning permits.
Apply for an Open Burn Permit online click here and click on the blue "Apply for New Permit" button, located in the top right of the page.
Once you have submitted your application, a permit will be emailed to you at the email address that was provided.
Once you have submitted your application, the burning permit can be located by clicking on the link above, and searching by name or street name and clicking the blue permit number in far right column.
For residents without internet access, in-person assistance is available at the Office of Fire Prevention located at 141 Oak Street, office #13.
