Billing Cycle: Quarterly, Monthly for High Consumers

Due Date: Thirty days after issue

Water and sewer bills are issued to each household and commercial consumer in the City of Taunton. Questions concerning the water and sewer charges, billing questions, payment options, outstanding amounts due and meter replacement should be directed to the Water Department at 508-821-1045.

Available ways to pay:

  • Online at City Hall Systems.
  • By Phone at 508-381-5455
  • Mail, with the envelope enclosed.
  • In-person at 15 Summer Street, Taunton, MA 02780 in the Collector's Office. Please bring the full bill with you if paying in person.
  • Overnight drop-box at 15 Summer Street near the Riverside Entrance.

Interest will be charged at 14% per year on any payment not received by the Collector's Office by the due date. Postmarks are not acceptable.

Continued failure to pay may result in the unpaid balance being added to the following year's Real Estate tax bill as a lien.
