Massachusetts Veterans Benefits
We are looking for Taunton Veterans who fit the following criteria:
- Senior citizen Veteran or widow(er) of a Veteran with a monthly income of less than $2,147 and cash assets less than $8,400?
- Married senior citizen Veteran with a combined income of less than $2,904 with cash assets of less than $16,600?
- Is your child a Veteran, living in Taunton, MA, and you are dependent on them for financial support?
Note: Your house (residence) and vehicle are not counted as assets.
If so, you may be eligible for assistance with Medical Insurance and Expenses.
We are looking for Taunton Veterans who fit the following criteria:
- Unemployed or underemployed Veteran or widow(er) with an income lower than or close to $2,147 and cash assets of $8,400 or less?
- Unemployed or underemployed Married couple with an income of $2,904 and cash assets of $16,600 or less?
If so, you may be eligible for Supplementary Financial Assistance.
We are looking for Taunton Veterans who fit the following criteria:
- Over 65 years of age or disabled and on a fixed income?
- Is your income less than $2,147 with cash assets of $8,400 or less as an individual?
- Is your income less than $2,904 with cash assets of $16,600 or less as a married couple?
If so, you may be eligible for assistance with Medical Insurance and Expenses and Supplementary Financial Assistance.
Education
- May 29, 2008 The University of Massachusetts Board of Trustees Committee on Administration and Finance has voted to propose partial fee waivers of up to $2,000 per school year (maximum $8,000 For Four Years) for returning Massachusetts veterans who served post-9/11/01 in either Iraq or Afghanistan.
