Mission Statement

The Department of Human Services/Taunton Council on Aging is a comprehensive program of activities designed to satisfy the physical, social, economic, recreational and psychological needs of the citizens of Taunton.

Program Eligibility

Council on Aging programs are for Taunton residents, sixty years of age or older.

MemoryCafe

Memory Café

The Taunton Council on Aging hosts monthly Memory Café’s held at the Taunton Public Library on the second Thursday of the month from 10:00-11:30 PM. A memory Café’ is a safe and comfortable space where caregivers and their loved ones can socialize and enjoy appropriate, fun activities in the company of others with similar circumstances and provides a break from the normal routine.

Join us for free entertainment, activities, fun conversation and light refreshments every second Thursday of the month!! Call the Taunton Council on Aging to register at

774- 406-5899. We ask that caregivers please remain with their loved one for the program.
