The National Weather Service, in conjunction with the State Meteorologist, is predicting a winter storm with accumulating snow beginning this evening, with most snowfall occurring overnight Monday into Tuesday morning.
The heaviest snow is expected during pre-dawn hours Tuesday right before the morning commute. Snow-covered and hazardous roads are expected, with an anticipated impact to the Tuesday morning commute.
Snow may mix with some sleet and/or rain during the late afternoon/evening hours across the immediate coastline of the South Coast and South Shore. Snow will begin to taper off late Tuesday afternoon and end from west to east Tuesday night.
Stay safe out there!
