The Taunton Water Department began its annual Fall Fire Hydrant flushing program in August and will continue through October.
Flushing generally occurs from 2:30pm-6:30pm, Monday - Thursday, subject to weather conditions.
Residents are advised to check the water before using it as it may be discolored during the flushing and for a short time afterwards.
