Great news for Taunton: in-home wellbeing visits are now being offered to elderly Taunton residents and elderly/disabled residents of the Taunton Housing Authority!

The City of Taunton is partnering with Brewster Ambulance to offer in-home wellbeing visits to elderly Taunton residents.

Mayor O'Connell is pleased to offer this new program to City residents--the first of its kind in Bristol County. The Mayor's Office, in partnership with Brewster Ambulance, Human Services/Council on Aging, Board of Health and Taunton Housing Authority have worked together to implement this new program to benefit some of the most vulnerable residents in Taunton.

Residents aged 60+ and elderly/disabled residents residing in the Taunton Housing Authority are welcome to call the Council on Aging (508-821-1425) to schedule a wellbeing visit with a Brewster Ambulance Paramedic. Among the services offered will be blood pressure checks, glucose monitoring and other wellbeing check-ups.

Residents will be cared for in the comfort of their own homes.

For more information about this program, please contact Jenn DeLuca at 508-821-1425.
